SELECT secures global giant Luceco Group as inaugural sponsors of President’s Cup
SELECT is celebrating a major coup after securing global electrical and lighting giant Luceco Group as the first-ever headline sponsor for its annual President’s Cup golf day.
This year’s prestigious event at Dunblane New Golf Club will now be supported by the Associate Member, which has been supplying quality products worldwide for more than 70 years, has sales in excess of £230 million and has 2,500 employees.
The deal is a huge milestone for SELECT and illustrates the growing bond between Members and manufacturers through our successful Associate Membership scheme .
Iain Mason, Director of Membership & Communications at SELECT, said: “We are delighted to have Luceco Group on board as our inaugural sponsor for the President’s Cup, an event which is keenly anticipated by golfers throughout the electrotechnical industry in Scotland.

The event on July 31 will bring together golfers from across Scotland to compete for the coveted silver trophy and socialise with industry colleagues. The all-day event will feature an East v West tournament, prizes for the longest drive, a putting contest and advice for golfers of all abilities from an on-site golf pro.

Launched in January 2022, the Associate Membership scheme gives manufacturers and service providers the chance to become part of Scotland’s largest construction trade association and build beneficial relationships with its 1,250 Member businesses.
Legrand, Hispec and V-Tac have all become Associates in 2023, following in the footsteps of fellow manufacturers Aico, Aurora, Electrium, Hager, Megger, Scolmore and Thorn Lighting.
