Review of Building Standards

The Scottish Government has set up a Review Panel on Building Standards (Compliance and Enforcement) in Scotland, following the Independent Inquiry into the Construction of Edinburgh Schools (February 2017) (Cole Report) and the tragic events at Grenfell Tower on 14 June 2017.

The Panel is reviewing the building standards system in Scotland in relation to compliance and enforcement and make any recommendations for improvement.

This is a great opportunity to make some real changes to the Scottish building standards system.
