We run various campaigns to promote SELECT Members to householders, landlords, specifiers and other stakeholders. We also work with a range of industry partners to raise awareness about electrical safety, regulations, training and other relevant industry issues.

Landlord Electrical Safety Checks
From 1st December this year, landlords will be required to conduct five-yearly electrical checks of the fixed wiring and any electrical appliances in privately rented homes. The guidance clearly states that these checks must be conducted by appropriately skilled persons and lists those employed by SELECT Members as one organisation which meets this requirement.
To promote this message SELECT is undertaking a number of marketing activities:
For a 2 week period, commencing on Monday 16th November, we will be featuring in a series of radio adverts across the Scottish independent radio network (Forth, Tay, Clyde etc.) advising of the changes and directing landlords to our new website.
