A new and exciting opportunity has arisen with SELECT, a well-respected and long established trade association.
SELECT was established in 1900 to represent the interests of the electrical contracting industry in Scotland. Over its 113 year history SELECT has grown to be the foremost authority on electrical contracting in Scotland. SELECT drives standards and best practice in all areas of electrical contracting from industry codes of practice to qualifications and employment standards.
The successful candidate will fulfil the role of:
Reporting to the Member Services Manager, but also providing a cross-Function shared service, you should be able to demonstrate success in a similar role, ideally, but not necessarily, in a trade association environment. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in marketing; will be knowledgeable and experienced in working with website content management systems, media management and website design software packages.
This “hands-on” role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, the capacity to multitask, sound organisational ability and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a committed and successful team.

WEBSITES, EVENTS & COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT

An opportunity has arisen within SELECT for a motivated staff member to take up a key administrative role in Member Services.
The successful candidate will fulfil the role of assistant to the new Websites, Events and Communications Coordinator. You will provide essential support on:
You should be able to demonstrate success in a current administrative role, with a good understanding of Metastorm. You should have a keen interest in all forms of communication, online and hardcopy, but above all you should be enthusiastic about this role and its potential to improve the way we communicate and deliver services to our Members.
Training and development in subjects relevant to the role will be given, but you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, the capacity to multitask, sound organisational ability and the willingness to work flexibly as part of a committed and successful team.
