SELECT’s main decision-making body is the Central Board which comprises of the Presidential Team (President, Vice President, Depute Vice President and Immediate Past President), Office Bearers from each of SELECT’s eight Branches and the Co-opted Conveners of Committees. Branch Office Bearers are elected every year during the branch AGMs, followed by the Association AGM where the Presidential Team is elected.

Central Board is supported by the Management Committee that functions to develop well researched, co-ordinated and structured, objective policy options for the Board and to oversee the implementation and monitoring of decisions.

The day to day running of the association is handled by the Secretariat based at the Walled Garden, near Edinburgh.
